A busy festive period has seen the Welsh and Irish bears sell out

Bábógbaby has enjoyed a busy Christmas period, selling out of stock for several lines of its language teaching toy bears.

"Winter 2013 has been really busy," Bábógbaby creator Adrian Devane told ToyNews.

"We ran out of the Welsh and Irish bears with advance orders now been placed for 2014.

"It's been a bit crazy.  Everyone left it really late to order them. We could have sold several thousand more."

The firm has also seen English bears prove popular, and is now looking forward to introducing new additions in New Year.

"Our English bears have started to pick up now too as we head into last week of shopping," added Devane.

"I can't wait to introduce the German, Spanish and French version to retailers and distributors in January at Nuremberg."
